US, the Cheer Leader

With all due respect to cheerleaders across the world, I never expected an excuse for the US standing as a cheerleader in the war between Israel and Hamas. If we cannot be a quarterback providing strategic advice during the worst war in modern times, we should just stay on the sidelines like many other countries who either respect the people in these countries to solve their own problems or have their own problems to solve. In the US, we pretend as if we don’t have problems of our own or, more arrogantly, think we have solutions for all the problems in the world. Please let Israel deal with its own mess it creates. I am not in support of Hamas’s terrorizing strategy, but if we think we are the problem-solver of the world, can we use our intelligence for diagnostics before administering therapy? If the US will unconditionally sympathize with Israel, we are responsible for pushing Hamas to terrorize. Our one-size-fits-all foreign policy is failing us and the rest of the world. Where are those unselfish leaders when we need them the most? I don’t see any on the horizon.
